Common faults we are able to repair:
- Shrinking of existing tiles: Over years the rubber safety tile tend to shrink, leaving large gaps between each
tile, which could cause a potential health and safety hazard, in turn this could void any insurance cover you may have on
the play equipment or surface. In the event of this happening we suggest an upgrading to a wet pour system, as it last much
longer than any other safety surfacing, it’s much more durable, it is also a great deal harder to vandalize as there
are no tiles to pull up and because its one continuous surface shrinkage does not occur and so maintenance is far easier.
However we are more than capable to fill in the gaps with a polyurethane
composite rubber filler designed for this job, this is only a short term fix, only lasting 2 to 3 years before needed further
attention.
- Lifting of tiles: Some times tiles can become lose due to heavy use or vandalism. This is a huge health and
safety hazard and needs immediate attention as this will void any insurance cover you may have.
- Fading: With coloured tiled or wet pour surfaces it is not uncommon for the colour to fade over the years due
to sun bleaching or heavy use. We can bring back the colour and restore any old looking surfaces to there former glory.
- Damage to play equipment: We can repair play equipment that has been damaged due to vandalism or through wear
and tear.
