Our wet pour creates a non toxic, non flammable, smooth, seamless, none slippery, long lasting, highly vandal
proof and cushioned safety surface. Depending on depth (over 55mm) the wet pour surface consists of two layers. The base
or course layer is made from recycled shredded car tires and is termed styrene-butadiene
rubber (SBR) this is held in place with a polyurethane resin binder
that when cured remains rubbery allowing the base layer to stay cushioned.
The top layer, or crust, uses another type of rubber granule called ethylene propylene diene M-class rubber (EPDM),
this comes in a full range of colours and sizes. This layer finishes the wet pour surface and like the base layer is held
in place with a polyurethane resin binder that when sured remains rubbery. It
can also be layed with patterns, shapes and games.
Our wet pour surfaces can be used in all manner of places, any where you can think of that needs a safety surface we
can and will lay it, For example:
- Play areas
- School playgrounds
- Around existing play equipment
- Around area where play equipment can or will be installed
- Horse boxes

- Day care centres
If you have specific needs or just require a quote please contact us .
Wet Pour depth must be layed according to the fall height, the higher the distance the play equipment is from
the ground the thicker the wet pour must be.
The Wet Pour must be installed on a well drained substraight or hard surface such as concrete or tarmac.
The thicker surfaces (over 55mm) can be layed on top of stone chippings. We can also do this ground work but at extra
cost.
